Members and friends enjoyed an evening of very amateur crown green bowling on Saturday 14th August. Many were all fingers and thumbs about the bias on the bowls. The weather was remarkably kind - no rain and quite a mild evening compared to some recently!There was a break for chinese/fish and chip takeaway at about 8.00, to allow participants to recharge their batteries (or muscles etc.) and partake in further liquid refreshment.
