On Christmas Day we once again provided a traditional Christmas lunch at the Stanley Centre for around 35 people who would otherwise have been on their own. A band of merry Lions and friends brought people in from around Knutsford and nearby villages and helped with food preparation and serving as well as chatting to the diners - some of whom have enjoyed the lunch for a number of years.The Knutsford Deputy Town Mayor, Stewart Gardiner and the Mayor's Consort, Jan Nicholson attended to wish everyone a Happy Christmas. Carols were sung and Father Christmas handed around gifts for everyone to take home.
